I'm Sara K., the breeder behind Smooshy Puppers located in New Berlin, WI. I am a small in-home breeder that breeds for temperament and health, with a litter every other to every year. All of our dogs are genetically tested for: DM Cystinuria 2 and 3, HUU, CRM1, and JHC. Soon we will be doing OFA testing as well, as we want the healthiest babies possible.

Sara partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

“All babies go home with their first set of vaccines, two rounds of deworming, a puppy starter pack including first bag of food, a one year health guarantee, and lifetime support from us.”
Sara may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Sara offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Sara directly.
When you pay and communicate on Good Dog, you’re covered by Payment Protection.

Peanut Butter and Marlowe's litter

French Bulldog
About Marlowe
Marlowe is a health tested maskless sable Urajiro. She is small, but mighty! She can be a talker sometimes, with lots to say. She is the happiest little girl and one of the great loves of my life.

French Bulldog
About Marlowe
Marlowe is a female French Bulldog. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Sara decided to make her part of their program. Sara has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.
Good level
Smooshy Puppers reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for French Bulldogs.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
