I'm Brooke S., the breeder behind Snead’s Cane Corso Kennel located in Altoona, AL. We offer healthy and quality companions with exceptional temperaments! We take great pride in our dogs and puppies. We strive to produce puppies with quality health and sound temperaments. Our dogs have proven to be the greatest companions to our family. We started breeding to contribute to breed betterment and to share smart and loveable puppies with other families. We do place all of our puppies/dogs under contracts.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I started breeding years ago when I wanted to offer people quality pups with exceptional temperaments!

  • What makes your program special?

    I carefully plan and pair breedings together to insure quality and healthy pups are the result! I study pedigrees and have incorporated a lot of import/European/Italian lines into our program.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black, black brindle, fawn, gray, and gray brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Brooke

Brooke has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Brooke partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

“We start helping match the right puppies with the right owners typically when puppies are around 6-7 weeks of age so we can evaluate their structure, temperament and personalities better! ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,700 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes AKC (limited or full), vet checked, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, a contract that includes a 24-month genetic health guarantee, and lifetime breeder support. Please contact us to go over our puppy contract and let us know if you’re looking for limited registration or full registration! All deposits are non-refundable but are transferable to another litter. Please reach out before placing a deposit to go over our puppy contract 😊🙏🏻.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

    I Loved the whole experience with Brooke !!! from the first time I inquired about a puppy . she very hands on . she literally helped in each stage and her communication is awesome . honestly a lot of ppl like to breed dogs based on popularity but I didn't get that from her I had other options but the other people seem like they were advertising their puppies the wrong way as the breed is meant to be ferocious. brooke allowed me to see the family within the dog . all the dogs were beautiful and was hard to choose . but ai am most satisfied with my choice . she is awesome !!!and the dogs she has is awesome . i promise you that !!
