Meet the breeder

I'm Kamri C., the breeder behind Soaring golden retrievers located in Salt Lake City, UT. We are a small breeding program in Herriman Utah that focuses on breeding healthy dogs with a great temperament. Sometimes the most ordinary things can be made extraordinary simply by doing them with a Golden Retriever.

Q. & A. with Kamri

  • Why did you start breeding?

While working at a canine reproduction clinic I gained a lot of knowledge about dogs and neonatal puppies. I decided that I wanted to combine my favorite dog breed with the knowledge that I have been continuously learning and start breeding quality dogs. There are so many breeders breeding for the wrong reasons. I want to breed to produce outstanding Golden Retrievers.
  • What makes your program special?

We strive for healthy dogs with phenomenal temperaments. We do not crossbreed like many breeders. We raise our puppies with the Puppy Culture method and they go to their new forever homes with a ton of socialization and love.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Kamri

Kamri has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Kamri partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

“Do we get to choose our puppy? Yes… and no. Rather than a traditional picking order, we use a match-based system to ensure each family receives the puppy best suited for their lifestyle. Here’s how it works: 1️⃣ Around 5 weeks, you complete a lifestyle questionnaire. 2️⃣ Around 7 weeks, we complete temperament evaluations. 3️⃣ We post individual puppy videos. 4️⃣ You send us your top two choices. 5️⃣ We match each puppy with the family that best fits their home. Our goal is not simply choosing a puppy — it’s creating the best long-term match. 🎬”

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $2,300 - $2,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“Puppies will be sold with AKC registration, microchips, 3 dewormings, the first dose of heartgard, and vaccines from a vet, with a health letter. Puppies will be sold with microchips, 3 dewormings, the first dose of heartgard, and vaccines from a vet, with a health letter.”

Working with Kamri to get our wonderful new pup was a smooth process. She was responsive to our questions and flexible in delivery arrangements. Our pup has been settling into our home for a few weeks now (and bonding with her furry brother) and we could not be happier. Thanks to Kamri and her family for all the work they put into raising confident, well socialized, pups!

Kamri and Nicole were the absolute best! So thankful we found a breeder than genuinely cares about the dogs. We drove from Las Vegas to pick up our baby and it was worth the drive. I couldn’t recommend anyone else!

Kamri from the scoring golden retrievers was amazing I really could have never have done it without her. She was very understanding, answered all of the questions. Since I am a college student she allowed us to do a FaceTime call with my parents to see her so they could have their questions answered. Baby Harper is adjusting and being spoiled. This puppy is happy, loves to play, and she loves snuggle time. You can tell that she has been exposed to lots of things nothing phases her. I will be going back to her for future puppies. I really enjoyed my experience with soaring golden retrievers.

We picked up our sweet girl (“Blissey” - now Maisie) two weeks ago and she has absolutely melted our hearts. We were so impressed with her temperament and behavior from day one — a clear sign of the work Nicole and Kamri put in with her. Before pickup, we received weekly updates on Maisie’s litter including detailed information of their progress – focused around the puppy culture method that was used in raising the litter. In addition to weekly updates, we eagerly looked forward to nightly video updates on the litter. All in all, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend Soul Desire Goldens/Soaring Goldens to anyone looking to purchase a puppy!

We couldn't be more happy with these two gems. We selected Maisy (Mew) and our oldest son selected Benji (Bulbasaur ). We have Benji over for a playdate today. After being home now barely a week we already know sit, stay for a little bit. Very gentle well mannered already. Both have already taken completely to the crate at night and even select it for naps often. So playful and smart. Looking forward to many years of good times with these two. I highly recommend this breeder and their program. Happy, healthy, smart puppies. They put so much love and work into these pups and it shows so much. THANK YOU!!
