I'm Suzie H., the breeder behind Soda Springs Kennel located in Lebanon, OR. We cherish every one of our pups and we do all we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. From choosing healthy parents, good temperaments, proper socialization. Placing them with great families, We strive to provide each of our puppies & their families with a positive experience!

Why did you start breeding?
I've always loved dogs and was thrilled when we had an accidental litter as kid. I was with them constantly. It became my dream job. At 21 yrs old I started buying my foundation breed dogs. 1st one was a fabulous German Shepherd, Jasper. Over the years our family's activities have changed along with the breeds to Golden Retrievers and Goldendoodles w/the fun personalities & lower shedding dogsWhat makes your program special?
I spend 24 7 with my pups, I start puppy training process at 3 days old with ENS/ESI then we move on to Puppy Culture protocal. I have had children with every litter. Therefore the pups are always kid friendly and they accept the love of a child.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include dark golden and golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Litter update on 10 Nov 2025 •…Play time on a beautiful fall day! See how good my kids are with the puppies?? They teach the pups love and confidence that children are safe to be with. Many pups that do not have children around them at this very early age tend to cower from them. Puppy Culture protocols advocate this also. My oldest grandson has seen probably 30 litters of pups with between mine and his mother's🐾✨️🐾✨️. Haha that's alot of paws!

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Ichthyosis, Golden Retriever Type
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Retinal Dysplasia/Oculoskeletal Dysplasia 1 (RD OSD), PRA, Golden Retriever 2, PRA, Golden Retriever 1, DNA Profile, Congenital Myasthenic Syndrome (CMS), Labrador Retriever Type, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

She has an amazing place and environment where she cares for her puppies.
