Meet the breeder

I'm Amanda D., the breeder behind SOLA Doodles located in Bayou Blue, LA. At SOLA Doodles, we raise American Labradoodles and Goldendoodles with love, family interaction, and early socialization. Our health- and genetically-tested parents and commitment to ethical breeding help us raise healthy, happy, well-adjusted puppies ready to become cherished family companions.

Q. & A. with Amanda

  • Why did you start breeding?

From age seven, Amanda dreamed of becoming a dog breeder. After breeding English Bulldogs, allergies led her to discover Labradoodles—and she fell in love! Their soulful eyes, curly coats, and loving personalities inspired her to pursue ethical breeding. She spent months researching to ensure she started with the healthiest, highest-quality dogs and a commitment to raising exceptional puppies.
  • What makes your program special?

At SOLA Doodles, health testing, strong genetics, and ethical breeding practices are non-negotiable. Our dogs live in our home or guardian homes, not outside kennels—they are family! We carefully choose exceptional parents for health and temperament because we believe the best puppies begin with the best parents. Our puppies are raised with love, socialization, and daily family interaction.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include parti, caramel cream, red, cream, and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
