Meet the breeder

I'm Tori C., the breeder behind Solari Kennels located in Pekin, IL. We’re proud of the healthy, affectionate, and behaviorally well-rounded puppies we raise for other families to love! We are dog lovers through and through! Our pups are such an important part of our lives, and we can’t imagine being without them. It’s an amazing experience as breeders to provide others with puppies that we know will bring them the same joy!

Q. & A. with Tori

  • Why did you start breeding?

My love for golden retrievers started back in 2020 when I first brought home out in house male Chevy. Chevy is a dream dog, so easily trainable, people pleasing, quick learner. His breeder started mentoring me giving me a good foot to start off breeding.
  • What makes your program special?

At Solari Kennels, we focus on health, temperament, and structure. Every dog is fully health tested and earns titles before breeding. Our dedication has produced 6 service dogs, 1 search & rescue, and 3 therapy dogs, changing lives 1 family at a time🐾
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Golden Retriever puppies include dark golden and golden. Saluki puppies include chocolate and tan, black and tan, black and silver, cream, red, and black tan and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
