Olga S.

Breeder of Golden Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Olga S., the breeder behind SolarWind located in Connecticut. I breed European style Golden Retrievers. Being a smaller program allows me to give my dogs full attention and love they require. I do everything I can to ensure the puppies develop into healthy and happy dogs. Membership: GRCA, Hudson Valley GRC, Southern Berkshire GRC and LSKC, also a board member.

Q. & A. with Olga

  • Why did you start breeding?

My own breeder with over 30 years experience saw potential in me and my dogs; she taught me all of the steps necessary to raise healthy dogs, to show and train them. In the summer of 2020 a young promising female joined my family & has matured into a wonderful healthy Golden Retriever who passed all of her OFA clearances. She has amazing temperament, functionality of everything Golden can offer
  • What makes your program special?

I focus on temperament, health, and functionality. My dogs are raised with a focus on humans to become well rounded companions and family members, travel and hiking buddies, emotional support and therapy dogs. There isn't a job that my Golden Retrievers can not do. Owning one of my well bred puppies will be a very rewarding and positive lifestyle. Thank you for visiting my page.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include golden and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
