I'm Laura S., the breeder behind Solinger Wags and Wiggles located in Lovilia, IA. Our mission is to raise healthy, happy, adorable puppies and connect loving families with their new best friend! We’re a small-scale program with a big love of all dogs! But our all time favorites are corgis, Aussies! Our dogs are our passion, and we enjoy spreading the love of fur babies with other individuals and families by responsibly breeding our incredible dogs.
Q. & A. with Laura
Why did you start breeding?
I started my breeding program after a few years of grooming. I realized how important good genetics are, and I wanted to do it the right way.
What makes your program special?
My breeding program is so special because I am teaching my kids life lessons while raising these puppies. They see the work it takes, they understand more about the science behind breeding than most adults do. My kids play a huge role in raising dogs, they help socialize, they help care for them, they help send them off to their new homes and that’s what makes our program so special.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include fawn and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
