Meet the breeder

I'm Neil M., the breeder behind Sons of Mullen Farm located in Olympia, WA. I own a small working farm just east of Olympia, WA. I have four dogs, a couple sheep and two goats. My pups are treated like pets, trying to maximize their socialization. Talking to previous buyers, it seems I’ve been successful. All the pups have fit well into their forever homes.

Q. & A. with Neil

  • Why did you start breeding?

I inherited Annie from an ex. She went into heat after and I decided to get her bred, almost on a whim. The experience has been completely positive. Difficult on some levels, but, overall, I can’t tell you how happy it’s made me
  • What makes your program special?

My socialization process. Again: I treat these pups as pets. They leave one loving home for a forever loving home. For various reason, financially I’ve just broken even, but the non-monetary benefits have been massive for me. This truly is a labor of love
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
