Meet the breeder

I'm Cheyanne S., the breeder behind Sorensen Corgis located in Mona, UT. At Sorensen Corgis, we’re passionate about raising happy, healthy Corgis with excellent temperaments. With over 6 years of experience, we focus on responsible breeding, thorough health testing, and early socialization to ensure each puppy grows into a confident, well-adjusted companion. We're proud to offer lifelong support to every family we work with.

Q. & A. with Cheyanne

  • Why did you start breeding?

What began in 2019 with one special Corgi—Rebel, a Valentine’s Day gift—quickly grew into a passionate, purpose-driven program. Raised around livestock, we wanted a breed that could keep up with our ag-centered lifestyle, and Corgis were the perfect fit. Today, we raise healthy, well-tempered Corgis who thrive from pasture to couch—loyal companions for every kind of family.
  • What makes your program special?

All of our dogs and puppies are raised on our ranch and in our home, surrounded by daily life, love, and livestock. From day one, we use early neurological stimulation and purposeful handling to develop confident, well-rounded puppies. At Sorensen Corgis, we’re intentional about every step of the journey—starting the moment they’re born.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include fawn, red, sable, blue, black and tan, and white and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

I fell in love with Smalls (now Maddox) on the Good Dog website. As I read his profile, looked longingly at his pictures, and watched the videos, he seemed to be confident, energetic, and endearingly mischievous. The whole process from application to arranging to get him home was so quick and smooth, that he arrived within a few days, lovingly transported by his flight nanny Maddie. Over the last few months, those traits I initially observed have only become more pronounced with the result that I have a playful, loving, smart, empathetic, loyal, and friendly pup that has grown strong, healthy and, in my opinion, impossibly beautiful. Currently I am focused on providing him with the love and stimulation he deserves, but I confess that I often consider getting another Corgi for him to share his toys with. If I do, it will only be from Cheyanne. I believe that her program does produce Corgis that are better socialized and conditioned to not only be happy, confident puppies, but wonderful, life enriching companions. Truly, I cannot thank you enough, but with my whole heart- Thank you!

We have the most beautiful little puppy from Sorensen Corgis! Cheyanne was very responsive and helpful with all of our questions. This includes everything from helping us choose the right dog from the litter to questions well after delivery on caring for our new little guy. We would highly recommend them for both the quality of the dogs, but also the human touch in all of the communications and assistance.
