I'm William/Mya H., the breeder behind South Fort Blue Danes located in Rock Hill, SC. As longtime lovers of Great Danes and retired Veterans we devote our time, energy, and efforts to each litter to ensure our puppies are properly socialized from the moment they are born and prepared to excel in their forever homes. Here at South Fort Blue Danes, our dogs are more than just pets -- they are our family members. We whelp and raise all of our puppies in the home. We have a huge amount of respect for the breed and we work hard to find forever homes with families that will love them just as much as we do!
Q. & A. with William/Mya
Why did you start breeding?
We have had and loved Great Danes for about 18 years and decided to put that love into producing beautiful, well-rounded puppies. We have built admiration and respect for the breed into every aspect of our program. We want to do our part to better the breed. Our breeding program strives to maintain the unique characteristics of the Great Dane while placing an emphasis on producing puppies of superior health, temperament, and structure.
What makes your program special?
At South Fort Blue Danes, we produce excellent companions. We understand the importance of dog health, temperament, and structure, and every breeding decision is made accordingly. We are very dedicated to what we do and what we are trying to achieve as breeders. We work with passion, heart, and integrity, and we truly want what's best for the Great Dane line and their forever families!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
