I'm Susan P., the breeder behind South Mountain Standard Poodles located in Frederick County, MD. My passion is to breed top-quality puppies and connect them with loving forever homes. I have been breeding for 24 years! My main priority when breeding is the temperament of my dogs and puppies. I want my puppies to be wonderful family companions and bring lots of love and joy into their forever homes.

Why did you start breeding?
I fell in love with the Poodle breed and decided to start my own responsible breeding program in order to continue my incredible line and to share these wonderful dogs with others. I’m passionate about what I do and am dedicated to producing healthy, quality dogs.What makes your program special?
My dogs are an integral part of my family and daily life. This creates the ideal environment for puppies. From birth, they grow in a secure, loving environment where they know that they matter to their family -- that they have a purpose.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Hip Dysplasia
