I'm Rebekah D., the breeder behind Southern Belle Poodles located in Poplarville, MS. We offer quality Toy and Standard Poodle puppies to loving and caring forever homes. We are an in home hobby breeder of AKC and Champion lines. We strive to breed for confirmation, health, and temperament. We absolutely cherish our puppies and we are looking to provide them with homes.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are a small program that can devote ample time and love to each of our dogs and puppies. Our dogs are our family members and we are dedicated to finding them each a home best suited to their needs and their new owner's needs.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include toy, miniature, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black, red, silver, white, parti, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Rebekah

Rebekah has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Rebekah partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This is a no -refundable holding fee that will go towards purchase price of puppy.”

Contract & health guarantee

Rebekah may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Rebekah offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Rebekah directly.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific), Full Embark Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Rebekah helped me from the start trying to find my perfect puppy. I thought I wanted another red poodle after mine had passed away. And she said she would put me on a waiting list for the red. She kept me updated throughout the entire process with photos on how my puppy was doing, which gave me so much peace of mind. Purchasing a puppy online can feel scary, but Rebekah made me feel completely comfortable and secure every step of the way. I traveled from another state to bring my puppy home, and she was even willing to drive an hour to help make my trip shorter. That level of kindness and dedication speaks volumes about who she is. Most importantly, it’s obvious how much she truly loves and cares for her dogs. Meeting her in person was such a blessing, and I am so grateful our paths crossed.     Never did I expect to drive 18+ hours for a pup! I wanted a Standard Silver Poodle, how crazy that Southern Belle just had a litter with ONE silver boy. When I saw Poet (formally known as Grayson) I knew I just found my companion! To top this off, Poet had a green collar on when I picked him up, my favorite color, what a coincidence! Rebekah was easy to work with, very responsive, & also very polite.     Rebekah was so helpful and accommodating. Communication was great, pick up was done on my schedule, on time!     Rebekah was wonderful to deal with. She kept us informed about our fur baby several times a week. She sent pictures and videos of him playing with the other pups. She was very quick to respond to questions We had. The entire process was very smooth and enjoyable. We could tell she was very involved with the pups and cares deeply about all her pups and where they will be going. We will use her again for hopefully a second toy poodle in the near future.

    Rebekah is wonderful, she is so kind and caring, and loves these puppies as if they were her own babies. The care she pours into them from the start is evident from the way she raises them with such care and attention. She answered all of my questions from the start with great detail and sent my Bonnie home with all of her papers, food, toys, and a few other items. I can't believe I've had her two weeks already. I feel like I just got her yesterday! Rebekah and I continue to stay in touch and she is wonderful!
