I'm Miranda M., the breeder behind Southern Charm Precious Paws located in Dalton, GA. I focus on health, temperament, and responsible breeding practices to help ensure each puppy has the best possible start in life. My goal is to match every puppy with a loving, lifelong home and to provide ongoing support to families after they bring their new companion home.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I didn’t start out planning to be a breeder — it began with my love for Yorkies for the breed and a desire to preserve its best qualities. After years of owning, training, and learning about the breed, I became passionate about responsible breeding, health testing, and producing well-rounded dogs with excellent temperaments. I want to be a part of contributing positively to the future of Yorkies.

    Our breeding program is built on intentional, ethical breeding with a strong focus on health, temperament, and breed integrity. We prioritize: • Comprehensive DNA health • Careful pairing decisions • Limited, well-planned litters • Raised in a home environment, Puppy buyers receive clear communication, lifetime support, and guidance throughout the process and beyond placement.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Poodle puppies are toy size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Yorkshire Terrier puppies include gold, chocolate and tan, chocolate, tan and white, parti, tan, and black and gold. Poodle puppies include apricot, brown, cafe au lait, and parti. Morkie puppies include chocolate, black, piebald, black & tan tri-color, and black and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

    They live in my home.

Miranda has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Miranda partners with them to find the best puppy match.

We believe matching the right puppy with the right family is just as important as health testing and responsible breeding. When you apply through GoodDog, we review each application carefully. We look at your experience with dogs, household environment, work schedule, other pets, and what you are looking for in a puppy. This helps us understand which puppy will fit your lifestyle best. Once puppies are old enough to evaluate temperament, structure, and size charting, we begin matching in the order deposits are received, while also considering the best fit for each puppy. For toy breeds like Yorkies, personality, energy level, and expected adult size all play an important role in placement. We do not allow visitors in our home for biosecurity reasons, but we provide frequent photos, videos, updates, and video calls so families can watch their puppy grow and feel confident in the process. All puppies are raised in our home, well-socialized, and come with: • Health guarantee • Age-appropriate vaccinations • Vet check • Parents DNA tested • Lifetime breeder support Our goal is not just to sell a puppy — it is to create the right match for both the puppy and the family. 🐾 Thank you for trusting our program.”

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $6,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our puppies CKC/AKC registration, vet health exam, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, and full health records. Parents are DNA tested Our babies are raised in home, loved on daily, & spoiled! Non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy. The deposit shows a serious commitment and removes the puppy from availability we continue to provide care, socialization, and veterinary care.”

    I lost a dear pet(my child) I say. Last year 2025, was hesitant to get another and I downloaded the Good Dog App and just kept looking at Yorkies, I kept coming up on Miranda's page and just kept getting more intrigued with how she started out and all the pics of her beautiful Yorkies....and kept ignoring what I truly wanted, I was still reeling the heartache of loosing my "Bailey" last year. Well after coming up again on her posts I decided this was it! Miranda s interaction with me was always so prompt...always... kindness just melted through the Internet with her. I never had one doubt about this from the get go. She drove farther than I did in order to bring me this new heartbeat of life.
