I'm Joan M., the breeder behind Southern Magnolia Bernedoodles located in Spartanburg, SC. Our puppies are raised in our home, not kennels. We prioritize health, calm temperament, and early socialization. Our program began after years of successful Goldendoodle breeding in our family, and we continue that tradition with beautiful, loving Bernedoodles.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I began in 2020 as a guardian home for my Goldendoodle, Mila, and later for Lexi and Phoebe. This gave me hands-on experience in responsible breeding and raising healthy puppies. While I loved Goldendoodles, I fell in love with Bernedoodles and decided to start my own program focused on them.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our puppies are raised in our home—not kennels—where they receive daily love and interaction. We prioritize health, temperament, and early socialization to help each puppy grow confident and well-adjusted. Every litter is dewormed, vet-checked, and vaccinated before going home. We carefully match each puppy with the right family and offer lifelong support.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include chocolate merle, black and white, tri-color, and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
