Meet the breeder

I'm Danielle T., the breeder behind Southern Meadows Doodles located in Decatur, AL. For over 8 years we have served families by helping find their new best friend. We love caring & connecting our puppies with families who cherish them, as we do. Our dogs live in our home. We provide care for your fur baby as our own, and ensure they receive the best care until you take them home.

Q. & A. with Danielle

  • Why did you start breeding?

We started raising Goldendoodles and quickly fell in love with the joy of having puppies in our home. As we learned more, we discovered the Australian Labradoodle and knew it was the perfect fit—smaller, allergy-friendly, and wonderfully family-oriented. We followed Puppy Culture methods to raise healthy, happy puppies who grow into loving companions for the families who welcome them home.
  • What makes your program special?

What makes our program special is that every puppy is truly raised as part of our family. With six of us in the home, our pups are surrounded by love, learning, and play from the very start. We use Puppy Culture and Baxter & Bella methods to build confidence, focus, and good manners. Each puppy leaves our home well-socialized, loved, and ready to transition smoothly into their forever family.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include caramel, caramel red, red, apricot, cream, chocolate, black, and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

We have had such a wonderful experience with Southern Meadows Doodles! Our sweet Spice—now named Pacman—has been an absolute dream from day one. He is loving, calm, and so easy to train. From the very first night, he slept all the way through with no accidents and has truly been the easiest puppy I have ever had. Pacman is my constant companion, and everyone who meets him falls in love instantly. We can’t stop telling people about our amazing breeder. Southern Meadows not only raises incredible, well-tempered puppies but also takes the time to educate new families, which made all the difference for us. I am forever grateful for the care, dedication, and love that went into raising our boy. If you’re looking for a breeder who goes above and beyond, Southern Meadows Doodles is the one!

Meet Charlie a new member of our family he’s our third dog. He’s very sweet socialized smart and loves to cuddle. The breeder has definitely socialized him well and desensitized him to certain noises. He seems very healthy and he knows how to use the pads and he’s practically crate trained at night. I would highly recommend Southern Meadows Doodles Breeder. Most importantly, I love that Danielle the breeder has posted on Good Dog all the tests and the results for all her dogs and that’s very important when you’re looking for a reputable breeder she’ll show you all the test results on her site for all her dogs. Thank you again cheryl casagrande

Danielle was truly exceptional throughout the entire process. Her professionalism and care made me feel completely secure during the adoption journey. Rio, our puppy, is the most loving and beautiful companion—we still can’t believe he’s ours. I wholeheartedly recommend Southern Meadows Labradoodles without hesitation.
