I'm Amanda C., the breeder behind Southern Nevada Goldens located in Pahrump, NV. We have a puppy culture program from 0-8wks that ensures your puppy is socialized properly! We also start basic training and communication at just 4 weeks of age. Puppies are raised inside the home with us at all times. They’re socialized with people and older dogs.

Why did you start breeding?
My parents were heavily involved in the development of the American Akita in the 80's. Once I had a child of my own, I decided raising goldens fit our lifestyle more.What makes your program special?
We use a puppy culture for ages birth-8 weeks. This exposes puppies to all the sights, sounds, and interactions in a normal household. We have seen many puppies come from breeders who had very little interaction with their pups and have developed many behavioral issues. Age appropriate training and interactions is the single most over looked factor in choosing a breeder!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
