I'm Tammy P., the breeder behind Southern Ohio Schnauzers & Snorkies located in Chesapeake, OH. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and intelligence. We strive to produce the best overall pets and family members. The loyalty and loving disposition of this breed are simply the best! We put a great deal of effort into raising our litters to ensure our puppy families will have the best experience raising their new family members.
Q. & A. with Tammy
Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding because I wanted to offer clients the chance to know and see the sire and dam together and know what type of puppies they were. There is no guessing who sired these babies! I also wanted to give clients a peace of mind knowing the puppies came from good loving home and was well cared for by me and vet checked for any instances.
What makes your program special?
I have litter puppies so far in all the surrounding states of Ohio, including Michigan and Virginia! All puppies are well and healthy and living fantastic lives! I keep in touch with buyers and have formed lasting friendships with people I would not normally have met. All puppies born here I treat as if I would be keeping them all myself..even though I know I am not.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Shorkie puppies include black and black and white. Miniature Schnauzer puppies include parti and salt and pepper. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
