Coco W.

Breeder of Poodles

Meet the breeder

I'm Coco W., the breeder behind Southern Standards located in Ormond Beach, FL. We trives to breed quality, healthy, good-tempered AKC Standard Poodles of parti factored & parti-color inside our family home. All our dogs & puppies are on regular vaccination & deworming schedule. Raised with puppy culture.

Q. & A. with Coco

  • Why did you start breeding?

I had already had a breeding mentor for 5 years before I actually decided I did want to breed lol. I honestly loved helping her with everything about breeding. From the pedigree research to seeing who would be most compatible with which traits, to helping with the actual breeding and whelping. To see those puppy updates from happy owners as they age. Its a lot of work and time but so rewarding.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are raised inside our family home with our young kids. We strive for the best temperament for all our dogs. They get plenty of socialization and handling from a young age. Grooming starts early so puppies go home already used to brushing, regular nail trimming, used to the grooming table, and exposed to the clippers. We follow Puppy Culture
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
