



I'm April P., the breeder behind Southern Standards Standard Poodles located in Georgia. Our dogs have amazing temperaments, which are passed on to their offspring. Many of our puppies are being used in service dog settings, and our puppies are raised by our entire family. We are told often that they have wonderful temperaments, health, and look!

Beau is a beautiful cream standard poodle offered for stud service and he has sired large and healthy litters. Several of his offspring are being placed in service dog training for children with special needs and we have received great feedback on the health , temperament and look of all his puppies. He has the correct black points (black nose & eyelids) for the cream color. He comes from a long line of service dogs and has great lineage!

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
