I'm Beckie N., the breeder behind Southern Sunshine Standards located in Osyka, MS. We devote our time, energy, and efforts to each litter to ensure our puppies are properly socialized from the moment they are born and prepared to excel in their forever homes.

Why did you start breeding?
I grew up on a farm, and my favorite part was having all the brand new babies! Since I was a little girl, I’ve been passionate about animals. Our goal is to not only produce beautiful puppies but to help promote responsible breeding in order to ensure that poodles will continue to thrive for generations to come. We have loved the process and enjoy placing puppies with loving, forever families.What makes your program special?
We are a small, in-home breeder. We understand the importance of dog health, temperament, and structure, and every breeding decision is made accordingly. Our commitment is to provide you with a professional and friendly puppy-buying experience; and that includes always having responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our puppies. Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $650 - $2,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

When we went to pick up our puppy we were able to see all the available puppies and the parents who meet us at the front yard. Beautiful dogs. Our puppy had all the vaccinations and a perfect checkup with our vet. The puppy was socialized some by Beckie and has not had any problems meeting other dogs and people. Within one week the puppy can set and shake and is 95% potty trained. Very pleased with our puppy and transaction with Beckie.
