All of our dogs are part of our family and are exercised daily. Each dam/ sire is tested to make sure they are clear of hip/ elbow dysplasia, heart & eye conditions. We are committed to bettering the breed.

Maggie is our big laid back girl. She is our largest female with the sweetest temperament. She doesn't meet a stranger and loves to just sit and be petted. Maggie has a beautiful thick light colored coat and we are so thankful to have her as part of our family. She is our Ukraine import with a pedigree full of champions.

About Jack
Jack joined our family when he was 8 weeks old. He came to us from Navilis Kennels in the Ukraine. Jack is so full of life, his tail never stops wagging and he is eager to learn new commands. He loves to play and is great with our little boy. He has a very sweet and loving temperament and is calm for his age. Jack has a beautiful light colored coat and blocky head. He has a very strong pedigree filled with champions.

Liberty is our very intelligent girl with a light colored coat. She is the type of Golden that loves affection and wants to be with her people. Liberty is a confident girl who is very eager to please. She is the daughter to our top (now retired) stud- Tommy. We are so excited to carry on his lines with Liberty. She is genetically clear and the sister to our girl Lexie. We are so thankful that Lexie and Liberty are a part of our family. Liberty's pedigree is very strong and full of champions.

River is our beautiful boy with a sweet/ gentle temperament. He is genetically clear and has a large blocky face with a very light colored (almost solid white) coat. River has all the traits of your typical golden- he is an affectionate boy that also loves to run and play. River is the type of stud that everyone stops to comment on how gorgeous he is. He comes from a long line of Champions and we are so proud to have River as part of our Southland Goldens Family.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
