I'm Ina S., the breeder behind Southwest Standards located in Yucca, AZ. We have been Passionate Standard Poodle Parents since 2010. My oldest Beau is 14. He convinced me that there is no breed better than a Standard. We bred Moses and Gracie for their beauty, athleticism, intelligence, and loving temperament. Their pups are BIG and smart, and FUN!

Why did you start breeding?
My 1st Standard Beau was 11 when we got my 2nd Moses. Love em both, but Moses my athlete needed a younger playmate and when my breeder called along came Grace. My awesome experience with my breeder and all of people I have met through her made me want to have one litter.What makes your program special?
24/7 availability to share what we know with our Fur-Ever families to support them and their Fur baby throughout their lives together including rehoming assistance if EVER needed.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

About Gracie
Gracie is our Princess. She is the most affectionate female dog we have ever had. She is a lapdog, wants to be on the couch, recliner on your lap or next to bed. Super smart, quick to train and loves hiking and chasing after Moses when he's chasing tennis balls.

Moses is a male Poodle. Carefully selected as a great representative of his breed, Ina decided to make him part of their program. Ina has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

+4I have had good luck on my side when I ran across Southwest Standards on Good Dog. Ina and Glenn had three puppies for sale, all worthy of purchase. I had a number of questions and we setup a call time. The answers I received painted a wonderful picture of how Ina and Glenn treat their family of pets. No poodle pushing but only a desire to find the best home for their pets. We arranged to meet in Quartzsite. I meet all the family members and after an hour I was still unsure which puppy I wanted. They suggested I meet them later out of town and watch them play and greet me. Never once was I pressured to make a purchase. Ina and Glenn are incredibly accommodating and would only do what was best for their puppies. It was clear to me that if any doubt about my suitable as an owner existed Ina would have sent me home. After any hour or so watching and no real favorite I chose Tank because I liked his face. He rode back to Yuma calmer than I expected. I text with Ina regularly for advice and she will answer me back with what she and Glenn have learned and practices they employ growing their pack and litter. I truly appreciate the feed back. Southwest Standards offers wonderful puppies and value service to those lucky enough to purchase. Please do not hesitate at least calling if you have an interest.

Ina and Glenn were friendly, knowledgable about the breed and gave us some good history of the parents and her siblings. They provided all necessary and additional extra components of the adoption process. These included up to date medical records, addition food, her blanket, a leash and collar as well as other items. We met them near their home. Ina and Glenn spent adequate time with us answering any questions that we might have. Ina brought Amora (our new puppy) and Glenn brought the parents Moses and Gracie in a different vehicle so that we could meet them and spend some time with them. Since the adoption process, we have exchanged numerous photos and information. This has been a wonderful and enjoyable process! Thank you Ina and Glenn
