I'm Laura S., the breeder behind Sparling's Doodles located in Burtchville, MI. We’re a small family Bernedoodle breeder focused on quality, not quantity. Our girl Lady is fully health-tested and part of our family first. With one carefully planned litter a year, our puppies are raised in our home with our seven kids—healthy, loved, and ready for their forever families.

Why did you start breeding?
My love for dogs began with Libby, our first Yorkshire. After seeing how perfect she was with my kids, we wanted to share that joy—raising a few litters of happy, healthy pups for other families to love just as much as we do.
What makes your program special?
Our breeding program stands out because we focus on quality, not quantity. Lady is family first, with just one carefully planned litter a year. Each puppy is raised in our home with our seven kids, ensuring they’re loved, socialized, and ready to become happy, confident family companions. We have had our girl genetically tested, and carefully selected a male with excellent genetics and temperament.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include yellow and white, grey and white, brown and white, and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Laura has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"This includes puppies that have been vaccinated, dew claws removed, and optional microchip. It includes a 1 year health guarantee. The deposit goes towards the total purchase price and secures your pick order."

Contract & health guarantee

Laura may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Lady
Lady is a F1 generation Bernedoodle. She is a very well tempered and obedient dog that is great with other dogs and excellent with children. Though she is calm and good natured, she loves her play time and running around with the kids.

Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Full Embark Panel, DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
