Why did you start breeding?
We fell in love with Beagles years ago thanks to two muddy little girls who stole our hearts. Losing them—and later rescuing two more with similar challenges—showed us how much responsible, preservation‑minded breeding matters. With mentorship and dedication, we began raising healthy, well‑tempered, purposefully bred Beagles. We are focused on temperament & health to provide you with a great dog.What makes your program special?
Our program is small, preservation‑focused, and kennel‑free. Puppies are raised in our lakeside home with kids, dogs, and early training. We proudly participate in AKC Bred with H.E.A.R.T. and own our parents, knowing their health and temperaments firsthand. Every pairing is carefully chosen to continue strong, healthy Beagle bloodlines.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are 13-inch size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Let’s break it down real life style AND talk about our boy Andy who is almost 16 weeks old and SO ready for his forever person 💙👇 With beagles, the physical difference isn’t huge—but it’s there 👀 💙 Boys tend to be a little more stocky and solid 💗 Girls are often slightly more petite and refined Same adorable floppy ears… just a slightly different build 😍 Now personality is where you really notice it 😆 💙 Male beagles are total love bugs 🥰 they follow you EVERYWHERE (yes… even the bathroom 😂), they’re goofy, playful, and ALL about their people 💗 Females are still loving, but often a bit more independent, sometimes more “I’ll come to you when I’m ready” energy 👉 If you want a shadow with a heartbeat… a boy might be calling your name 💙 Training and maturity? Litter update on 16 Mar •…❄️🔥 A cold, snowy March day… but somebody has it all figured out. While the forecast keeps talking about snow and cold, Little Miss Dolly has decided none of that really matters. Because right here… in front of this warm, cozy fire… life is absolutely perfect. 🐾 Curled up on her brand-new bed, she’s soaking in the warmth like she personally ordered this fireplace just for herself. The fire crackles, the room is cozy, and Dolly has officially declared today a “stay right here and snooze” kind of day. If she could talk, I’m pretty sure she’d be thinking something like: “The humans seem concerned about the weather… but honestly, I don’t see the problem. The fire is warm, my bed is soft, and I’m pretty sure I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.” Dolly may be a pedigreed girl, but around here she’s much more than that. She’s a spoiled, loved, curled-up-by-the-fire family member… and we wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️ And judging by that sleepy face… I think she’s planning to stay right there until the snow melts. 💤🐶 She’s the Mom of this current litter & certainly happy today in spite of the cold.🥶

Lady Grace loves to spend the day napping in our office while we work, afternoon she likes to run all around in the yard playing chase with the other dogs. In the evening when we watch TV she likes to sleep between our legs on the foot of the recliner. She loves to sleep with us when she can sneak in!

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

Our experience with Christina and her husband, Todd, of Spear Lake Beagles could not have been better! They are so transparent about their practices and are such a wholesome family. It was clear from the start that they have so much love for their fur-family, take such wonderful care of them, and raise their puppies to be amazing family members. My husband and I got two girl beagles for my parents who lost their last doggy over a year ago. Millie and Mabel were the best surprise that we could have given them. They are beautiful, so loving, and have the best temperament. Christina made the process very smooth and easy. They were kind enough to meet us at a convenient location for pick up and gifted us with amazing care packages for the puppies. Millie and Mabel were seen by their family vet multiple times before coming home with us and are such healthy and happy babies. Our family is in love with them. We couldn’t be happier that they are part of our lives. We will forever be grateful to Christina and Todd for this wonderful experience and for the years of happiness we’re sure to have with our girls!
