🎉 BIG NEWS FROM SPEAR LAKE BEAGLES! 🎉 Our very own boy Kevin is officially a service dog… and we couldn’t be more proud! 🐾💙 Not only does he have the looks—ohhh does he have the looks 😍—but Kevin is the full package: smart, capable, steady, and truly special. ✨ From his incredible lineage—Sir Oliver x Lady Grace ✨ To his rare and stunning silver/blue & bluetick coloring ✨ And those striking blue eyes you just don’t see every day… He’s not just beautiful—he’s built with purpose, intelligence, and heart. This is exactly what we strive for at Spear Lake Beagles… raising dogs that are more than companions—they’re life-changing partners. Kevin is living proof of that. 💫 👏 Let’s hear it for Kevin, everyone! 👏 Drop him some love and help us celebrate this amazing milestone for one incredible boy! 🐶💙

Crate training is going excellent for Andy. He sleeps through the night in his crate & huge bonus he enjoys naps in there during the day after our playtime ends. He does not whine or cry, he relaxes and enjoys his crate.

Domino Andy our little dog with the lucky dot is tired from all the morning fun. He ran and played and fetched the ball over and over until he just curled up to have a long morning nap.

Friends Spear Lake Beagles is in the process of moving from a little town called Meridianville, just outside of Huntsville in Alabama to a small community outside of Gadsden, Alabama called Ball Play Field. We won’t have a lake now, but we do have a pretty awesome pond.

Andy- also known as as Domino, our little lucky dot doggy is playing it up with his Mama- Little Miss Dolly. They are not sure what to think about the mess of moving off of a community lake to our own little farmhouse. They are enjoying the chaos more than us human folks. 😂

Let’s break it down real life style AND talk about our boy Andy who is almost 16 weeks old and SO ready for his forever person 💙👇 With beagles, the physical difference isn’t huge—but it’s there 👀 💙 Boys tend to be a little more stocky and solid 💗 Girls are often slightly more petite and refined Same adorable floppy ears… just a slightly different build 😍 Now personality is where you really notice it 😆 💙 Male beagles are total love bugs 🥰 they follow you EVERYWHERE (yes… even the bathroom 😂), they’re goofy, playful, and ALL about their people 💗 Females are still loving, but often a bit more independent, sometimes more “I’ll come to you when I’m ready” energy 👉 If you want a shadow with a heartbeat… a boy might be calling your name 💙 Training and maturity? Let’s be honest… this matters 😅 💙 Male beagles tend to stay in that puppy phase longer, can be a little more hard-headed (hello hound life 🐽), but they keep that silly, fun-loving personality for years 💗 Females often mature a bit faster, can be easier to focus early on, and may be a little more “serious” in training 👉 Boys may test you… but they’ll also keep you laughing nonstop 🤣 So where does that bring us? 💙 Our boy Andy is almost 16 weeks old now and is truly the perfect example of everything you just read… a snuggly, affectionate, playful little guy who LOVES his people, loves attention, and is ready to bond HARD with his forever family 💙 He would be PERFECT if you want: ✔️ A cuddly best friend ✔️ A loyal shadow that sticks right by your side ✔️ A goofy, playful personality that keeps life fun ✔️ A beagle that’s ready to grow up with YOU But just know… 🐾 He’ll need patience 🐾 Consistent training 🐾 And a sense of humor 😆 Because he’s going to make you laugh every single day 💙 At the end of the day, there’s no wrong choice with a beagle… just the one that fits your home best 🐾 So tell me 👇 👉 Are you Team Boy 💙 or Team Girl 💗 when it comes to beagles?
