I'm Sharon M., the breeder behind Springers Of Oz located in Bonner Springs, KS. My dogs are bred with a focus on performance, temperament, and health. I regularly research, health test, and work with my vet to ensure they are given the best care. Puppies are born and raised in my home where I make sure to build their confidence, provide proper socialization, and give them love. Using puppy culture as well as ENS is extremely important to me and my breeding.
Q. & A. with Sharon
Why did you start breeding?
As a professional trainer, handler, and groomer, I know what it takes to properly care for this breed and I make sure to put their physical and mental health first when making breeding decisions. Temperament is highly important to me and breed for that above all else. My dogs are family first and foremost, so it is important to me that they are living their best life. It is my passion to breed these incredible dogs and help ensure the future of the English Springer Spaniel.
What makes your program special?
In addition to performing various health tests, I utilize Puppy Culture training protocols to guarantee my puppies get the best start possible. It is always a joy to see puppies discover new things and explore their environment. I make sure they are well adjusted to a home setting, begin potty/litter box training and basic commands, and are given lots of love before going home with their forever families. My wait list is a year out because I breed one litter at a time and spend 10 weeks training and making sure the pups are ready for a new forever home. I do require a deposit to ensure you are as serious about a family member as I am providing one.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include liver and white, black and white, liver white and tan, and black white and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
