Meet the breeder

I'm Tracy G., the breeder behind Spun Gold Golden Retrievers located in Ringgold, GA. We are ethical purebred conservation breeders of English Golden Retrievers, seriously committed to the preservation of breed type. We import exceptional European show stock with impeccable health clearances & phenomenal temperaments. Our program includes socialization, obedience, & potty training.

Q. & A. with Tracy

  • Why did you start breeding?

After 2 years of extensive research, we started breeding Golden Retrievers in 2012. We chose Goldens because they bring so much joy to our family and we wanted to share that with others! In 2014 we decided to exclusively breed English (Creme) Goldens. The European imports have an even more remarkable and easy-going temperament, lower energy level, superior health, excellent biddability, and heightened intelligence. We have loved every minute of this process and look forward to welcoming you into our world!
  • What makes your program special?

We are not a typical "kennel". All of our dogs are our companions and they live in the house with us. That's also where the puppies are born, raised, and trained. When you purchase a puppy or dog from SGGR, you also get access to us (our considerable knowledge and experience) for the life of your dog. As your breeder, we want you to contact us with any questions or concerns whenever you need. We are passionate about our dogs and know you will be, too! We want to be here for you and are committed to helping you along the wonderful journey of owning a Golden.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
