I'm Sharon R., the breeder behind StarBright Tervuren located in Whitmore Lake, MI. Our dogs are bred for health, character, and breed qualities that will make them excellent companions and able to perform in a variety of venues. Our puppies are lovingly raised in our home as part of our family so that we can prepare them to be wonderful additions to yours. We love our dogs and what we do, and we strive to make each puppy a great contribution to his or her forever home.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    StarBright Tervuren is built upon a foundation of love, admiration, and respect for the Belgian Tervurens. I devote my time, energy, and attention to each litter to ensure puppies get the best start in life. It is my passion to breed these incredible dogs and help ensure the future of the Belgian Tervuren.
  • What makes your program special?

    I am a professional handler of Belgian Tervurens. I do not breed my dogs unless they are fully healthy and genetically tested. I am dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, socializing, and training my pups. My heavy involvement in the show world speaks to the standards that I breed my dogs by. I will always stand behind my puppies. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families.

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include between $1,200 - $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
