I produce pups that will continue to excel in their chosen field, whether that be working, showing, or as an active companion. As a breeder, I feel a sense of responsibility to prioritize the overall health and temperament of each of my puppies and to ensure that they are loved and well cared for prior to joining their forever homes.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    A consistent love for the Berger Blanc Suisse encouraged the beginning of Starfyre. I am devoted to ensuring there are happy and healthy puppies for others to enjoy, and I do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed.

  • What makes your program special?

    I work hard to produce puppies that can become service dogs, so I place a huge focus on temperament and health. I am also careful with conformation. I take pride in raising well-tempered and socialized puppies who can excel in work, show, and as beloved companions.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Sharyl

Sharyl has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes a microchip, chip registration, UKC registration, FCI registration, temperament testing, and socialization. Deposit is refundable until a signed contract is received. After receipt of contract, a refund is determined case by case.”

Contract & health guarantee

Sharyl may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Dentition

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Full Embark Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), Wisdom Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    My husband and I are so thankful that we found Sharyl/Starfyre Berger Blanc Suisse and for how this all worked out.
