I'm Celeste F., the breeder behind Starrdust Goldens and Havanese located in Pittsford, NY. I produce pups that will continue to excel in their chosen field, whether that be working, showing, or as an active companion. I have been breeding and showing my dogs for years and truly love what I do. My priority is to ensure the health and well-being of all my dogs from birth until they leave with their forever family and beyond.
Q. & A. with Celeste
Why did you start breeding?
I grew up with Golden Retrievers and started training and showing them in obedience when I was 12 years old. I have been breeding Goldens since 1987 and Havanese since 2011. It is such an honor to preserve the line of these incredible dogs all the while creating companionship for others.
What makes your program special?
I strive to breed healthy, quality pups that can fit any lifestyle. My heavy involvement in the show world speaks to the standards that I breed my dogs by. I do not breed my dogs unless they are fully healthy and genetically tested. I am dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, socializing, and training my pups. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
