I'm Lauren B., the breeder behind Stellar Miniature American Shepherds located in Robinson, TX. Our dogs live in our home and are our pets first and foremost. We do not focus our program on any particular color, rather, we focus on incredible quality that will produce stunning show dogs and healthy babies.
Q. & A. with Lauren
Why did you start breeding?
My husband and I own an exotic ranch along with a small herd of cattle. I have always loved the Australian Shepherds but wanted something smaller. So, with my passion for dogs, it was only in time that I would like to learn and help improve the breed. This breed is relatively new, and with my new knowledge and mentors, I feel that I will help build this breed into what it will become.
What makes your program special?
Here at Stellar, we are family, that means when you buy a pup from us, you are part of our extended family. I will do what it takes to help the buyer learn about their puppy, even help train their puppy to the best of its ability. We test every one of our breeding dogs on genetics, hips, eyes, heart, patellas, and everything that you would expect a responsible breeder should ensuring a great pet.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black tri, red tri-color, red merle, and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
