Meet the breeder

I'm Wendy O., the breeder behind Sterling Goldens located in Morris, CT. I provide well tempered, top-quality, and healthy family pets that are carefully bred in a loving and clean environment. My priority is to ensure the health and well-being of all my dogs from birth until they leave with their forever family and beyond. My breeding dogs are in full and genetically tested. I am passionate about my program and look forward to connecting with you!

Q. & A. with Wendy

  • Why did you start breeding?

In addition to my love for animals, I've always had an interest in sharing my love for dogs with others. Goldens, in particular, have a special place in my heart. I've found them to be the most loyal, faithful, trusting, and kind companions you could ask for.
  • What makes your program special?

The love and attention we give our Goldens in our family environment provide well-rounded dogs. Our dogs have had genetic testing as well as OFA clearances to meet AKC and OFA standards for the breed as recommended by the Golden Retriever Club of America. Our dogs work hard, play hard, love hard, and are part of the family. We prepare all of our puppies to excel in life and want nothing more than to see each and every one of them shine.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include golden and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
