I'm Meagan S., the breeder behind Sterling's springer Haven located in Westover, MD. We breed our dogs to have amazing temperament and health and we focus on socializing our puppies and giving them the best care before they go to their forever homes. We practice Puppy Culture protocols with all of our litters. We only want the best for our dogs and our puppies. We give individual attention and love to our puppies.

Why did you start breeding?
I grew up in a breeding family. I started breeding a few years ago and after I got my first English Springer Spaniel I knew that it was the breed I wanted to start breeding. I met an amazing breeder who produced my female dogs and has helped me to become a better breeder. I owe my progress and success to her guidance.What makes your program special?
I give all my dogs so much love and consider them members of my family. I provide daily one-on-one time for each puppy. I socialize them with children and other dogs to ensure they develop into well socialized, happy pups for their forever families. I have a passion for excellence and healthy family pets, and I have high expectations for my puppies. I always want to ensure each one is placed with an enriching and loving family that will match their temperament and personality.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red and white, liver white and tan, black white and tan, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Meagan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“We charge $1500 for limited AKC registration or pet home and $2500 for full registration unless its a lemon and white litter full registration is $3,000. There is A $200 non refundable deposit to reserve a puppy from one of our litters deposit can be moved 1 time to a different or future litter. I will not hold a puppy or reserve without the deposit.”

Meagan may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
