Meet the breeder

I'm Felisha P., the breeder behind Stevi Frenchies located in Stevensville, MT. I am breeding for health, beauty, and charm. Q. & A. with Felisha

  • Why did you start breeding?

I was born into breeding dogs, we bred; Min Pins, Dobermans, German Shepard, Toy and Teacup Poodles, Pekingese and Dachshunds (of course not all at the same time). I can not remember a time in my life where we did not have at least one dog at home. I loved it. I loved helping the mamas give birth, and taking care of the puppies when they were old enough to chase you around the house.
  • What makes your program special?

What makes my breeding program special is we take the time to make sure the puppies are healthy and loved from day one. Our puppies have two loving children to play with and a loving safe home to start in. We make sure they continue that love in their forever home.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Breeder-Reported Testing

Good level

Stevi Frenchies reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for French Bulldogs.

  • Hip Dysplasia

Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Brucellosis

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
