I'm Irene M., the breeder behind Stone Cottage Corgis of New York located in Warners, NY. We absolutely love Pembroke Welsh Corgis! They have brought so much fun and positive energy into our lives, and they truly are part of our family. Our goal is to raise exceptional companions—not just puppies. We focus on producing well-rounded, healthy dogs with sound temperaments, strong structure, and enjoyable personalities. Each puppy is raised in our home with daily hands-on care, early socialization, and exposure to everyday sights and sounds. We are intentional about giving them the best possible start so they grow into confident, adaptable, and loving companions.

Why did you start breeding?
When I first saw photos of Queen Elizabeth II surrounded by her corgis, I was completely charmed. There was something so joyful about them that stayed with me. Years later, I brought home my first corgi… then my second… and quickly realized just how special the breed is to live with day to day. Over time, that love grew into a deeper commitment—not just to owning corgis, but to raising them well. We focus on healthy parents, early socialization in a family environment, and carefully matching each puppy with the right home. What started as admiration has become a responsibility we take seriously.What makes your program special?
We have a large family, all dog lovers. There are many different ages and temperments. The pups are handled and exposed to a lot of different people and personalities. We are not just a program, we are a family with a passion. The pups are raised underfoot, held on laps during school and played with, cared for and loved on continuously.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red and sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

“Akc registration papers, 1st vaccines, vet check, deworming every 2 weeks, go home bag for each puppy with blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, current puppy food and toys. A deposit is required to reserve a puppy and is non-refundable, as we turn away other potential homes once a puppy is held. If a health concern arises with the puppy prior to going home, the deposit will be fully refunded.”

Primrose is spunky, fun loving and an absolute darling. We enjoy her so much. She is very athletic and loves to do obstacle courses that my kids make for her in the yard. This is her first litter and she is a fantastic mother.

About Blue
He is so sweet, laid back and loyal. My 3 year old can walk him on a leash. If we are taking a walk he will run when the kids run, stop when they stop and sit if we take a break. He just loves our company, and is up for anything and everything.
