I'm Linda S., the breeder behind Stone Ridge English Cream Golden Retrievers located in Mt. Juliet, TN.
Q. & A. with Linda
Why did you start breeding?
We began breeding Golden Retrievers in 2010. In 2016 we imported our first English Cream Golden Retriever from Romania with the intention to breed her. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with OCD of the elbow, so she was spayed. We fell in crazy in love with the English Creams temperament and acquired our first breeding male in 2019, followed by our first breeding female in 2022.
What makes your program special?
With our veterinary background and experiencing the purchase of one dog that had genetic issues leaving her painful and a shortened life. We are adamant about health screens for our dogs. They have all necessary screenings for Eyes, Heart, Genetics, OFA Elbows and, Penn Hips for more accurate hip diagnosis. Our goal is healthy happy puppies living long happy healthy lives.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
