I'm Tracy W., the breeder behind Stones River Miniature American Shepherds located in Murfreesboro, TN. I breed my Miniature American Shepherds as closely to the MASCUSA/AKC standards as possible. This means that even my “pet” puppies are of excellent type and quality regarding their conformation and parental health clearances. I try and match pups with just the right perspective homes so everyone is happy.
Q. & A. with Tracy
Why did you start breeding?
I have always been a lover of animals and nature. While my breeding program is fairly new, I have had similar passions for years. I love to take photos of flowers and dogs. My dogs live in the house with me and we do lots of activities together.
What makes your program special?
Beauty, health, brains and great temperament are present in all of my dogs. I also follow the puppy culture protocol for raising puppies. They are given new toys/experiences almost everyday.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
