Meet the breeder

I'm Amy D., the breeder behind Stony Run Puppies located in Spring City, PA. As a home-based breeding initiative, we focus on providing optimal care to every dog. Our commitment to each dog's well-being reflects our deep love for all animals. We delight in spreading the joy of puppies to families. Expect nothing less than robust health and loving temperaments in our dogs.

Q. & A. with Amy

  • Why did you start breeding?

After my sister started a breeding program, we welcomed our founder mama, Leia, a beautiful, spunky and devoted Golden Retriever into our home. As a science teacher, I found breeding amazing and was excited to try it on our own. After our first litter and lots of research, I'm happy to say that we loved it and will continue breeding. We now breed both Golden Retrievers and Goldendoodles.
  • What makes your program special?

Your puppy will be raised using the BAB curriculum, a program proven to greatly improve outcomes for puppies! From early neurological stimulation, to nerve strength and confidence building, crate training and leash walking, your puppy will experience neurological and social exercises.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include cream, black, and merle. Golden Retriever puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
