I'm Melissa H., the breeder behind Stormborn located in Birmingham, AL. Our goal is to ensure every dog that comes from our program is set up to live a happy and healthy life and is prepared for its future role when it leaves our care. We provide each of our pups with lots of socialization and love, and we are dedicated to maintaining responsible breeding policies.

Why did you start breeding?
I started showing dogs over a decade ago and started breeding with the intention of bettering the breed, and also breed my own show dog. Of course, not all make it to the show ring so, I often have lovely pets to place in approved homes.What makes your program special?
I breed according to the AKC standard. Poodles are my passion and believe temperament and intelligence are just as important as beauty.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include apricot, black, cream, silver, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Typically male pups sell for less than females. Occasionally I have adult dogs for sale at a reduced price. I accept deposits but they’re not required. However a deposit will reserve a pup for the buyer.”

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
