I'm Amanda S., the breeder behind Strongdoodles located in Farmington, NM. We decided to start breeding to share the best possible puppies with excellent personalities, temperament, and most of all health! We are dedicated to always providing our buyers and our puppies with a positive experience, which includes remaining committed to responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our puppies.
Q. & A. with Amanda
Why did you start breeding?
We began our journey in the puppy breeding world, a few years after we got our first dog, Chewy, an F1 Goldendoodle. We loved him so much we decided to welcome into our home, two F1 Bernedoodle sisters, Joy and Aspen. Seeing how similar and amazing these two breeds were, we did some research and discovered combining them, created the Golden Mountain Doodle. We decided to breed our first litter between Aspen and Chewy. Needless to say, it went so well, five years later we are still at it!
What makes your program special?
We carefully select each one of our breeding dogs, through genetic testing, and temperament, to make sure each parent has the best genes possible to give. Our dogs are a part of our family, living in our home, playing in our yard. Each litter born is born in our home, played and nurtured by not only its own parents, but us, and our children. Each pup is a part of our family given daily love and socializing.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include mini, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable, black, black and white, tri-color, phantom, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
