I'm Karen, the breeder behind Sugarberry Bernedoodles located in Gilbert, AZ. Sugarberry Bernedoodles is a small, family breeder—not a large kennel. All the dogs under our care are raised inside our home with our kids. You can trust that our puppies are healthy, as we make sure that all of them are health tested. We raise our Bernedoodles in a warm, loving, and social environment. This ensures that they will be well-behaved in their new forever home once the time is right.
Q. & A. with Karen
Why did you start breeding?
we are just starting our breeding program this year. I had a standard poodle and began learning more and more about bernedoodles (both their health and temperament). I knew if I was going to breed bernedoodles, that I want to be an excellent and educated breeder.
What makes your program special?
We treat each of our dogs as a member of our family. Our puppies are raised in our home and are socialized since birth. We follow Puppy Culture protocols and believe that the perfect family dog starts with the breeder early on in its life. We take extra steps to ensure our puppies go to loving families and are well-adjusted to a home environment.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
