Meet the breeder

I'm Alisha M., the breeder behind Sun Ridge Goldens located in Shingle Springs, CA. Sun Ridge Goldens is a boutique breeder. We are devoted to producing healthy, well-tempered puppies that embody the breed's renowned qualities. Our goal is to ensure that each puppy is a beautiful representation of the breed and a loyal, loving companion.

Q. & A. with Alisha

  • Why did you start breeding?

Breeding has always been a childhood dream of mine. Now that my children are old enough, it feels like the right time for us to become breeders. We live on 6 acres in Northern California, and our goal is to be a boutique breeder focused on the health, agility, temperament of the puppies we breed, and most importantly, ensuring they are loving companions.
  • What makes your program special?

We are not looking to pursue this as a business; rather, we aim to promote the high-quality characteristics of the breed by placing them in loving homes.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
