I'm Lee R., the breeder behind Sundance Standard Poodles located in Alvarado, TX. Our dogs show and compete in ukc and akc conformation and sports. We breed for temperments that are compatible for service work and stay true to the standard. Our focus is on improving red and multicolored standard poodles without losing correct temperment and drive to work and perform.

Our puppies include apricot, black, red, parti, phantom, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
Getting a puppy from Lee
Lee has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Lee partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.
“Puppies are tempermentally evaluated using volhard testing and other proven tests. Puppies are structurally evaluated by myself and an experienced show breeder for show prospects. I use my knowledge as the breeder ant the one who knows Puppies best to take these results and pair pups to owners based on compatibility to set everybody up for utmost success.”
Price
“Price includes a puppy set up for success and lifetime breeder support. Puppy goes home with copies of registration, pedigree, and individual temperment and structure evaluations. All puppies are the same price regardless of color, sex or registration type. Show prospects will go home on co-owns, pets on limited. Deposit is paid when pairing is announced.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Sebaceous Adenitis (SA), Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
