I'm Sherry A., the breeder behind Sundance Tollers located in Minnesota. We take responsible breeding very seriously, and we’re thorough in health testing and caring for our dogs. We make sure each puppy gets the proper group and individual attention that it needs to thrive, and we do all that we can to prepare them for their future roles and families.
Q. & A. with Sherry
Why did you start breeding?
I bought my first Toller to run Fly ball and through the breeder was introduced to fieldwork and conformation, as well as obedience and agility. We also did therapy dog work and scent work. I so enjoyed the versatility of the breed and a willingness to work that I was drawn to breeding to pass along the wonderful traits of my first duck Toller. Since then I have added a couple of other dogs for my family and we continue to be very active and competitive with them. I've had great mentors along the way and continue to work closely with the breed community.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are raised in the house in a family setting on our 10 acre property. They are exposed to new experiences and spend lots of time exploring the outdoors. We train, show, and trial our dogs, and complete extensive health and genetic testing.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
