I'm Clairessa S., the breeder behind Beachside Kennels located in Florida. Welcome to Beachside Kennels 🐾 At Beachside Kennels, Great Danes aren’t simply something we breed—they’re a way of life. With 27 years of experience breeding Great Danes, our program has been built around a lifelong love for this incredible breed and a commitment to producing healthy, beautiful, well-socialized companions. Our Great Danes are AKC registered and health tested, with careful consideration given to health, temperament, structure, and the qualities that make the Great Dane such an extraordinary family dog. As a veterinary technician by trade, I have dedicated my life to the care and well-being of animals. That experience brings an added level of knowledge and hands-on care to every aspect of our breeding program—from pregnancy and delivery to raising, socializing, and preparing each puppy for their new home. Beachside Kennels is about much more than the day you bring your puppy home. Every puppy comes with a lifetime of breeder support. Whether you have a question weeks, months, or years down the road, we want to be there. Our relationship doesn’t end when your puppy leaves our arms—it’s really just beginning. As a mom of six human kids (and more four-legged ones than we can count! ❤️), family is at the heart of everything we do. Our puppies are raised as part of our family, and somehow, our puppy buyers have a way of becoming family too. When you choose a Beachside Kennels Great Dane, you aren't simply taking home a puppy. Getting a puppy from Clairessa

Clairessa has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Clairessa partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    If I could give Clairessa 10 stars, I would do it in a heartbeat! She is hands down the most patient, dedicated, and professional breeder I have ever met. Throughout the entire process, she was absolutely exceptional, keeping us updated with constant communication about our puppy’s growth and development. Her level of responsibility and ethics as a breeder is unmatched. On the day we were originally supposed to bring our puppy home, her veterinarian advised her that she wasn’t completely ready yet. Instead of rushing things, Clairessa immediately reached out, explained the situation with total honesty, and safely put the puppy’s health first by asking us to wait one more week. That showed us just how much she truly cares about her dogs. Today, we finally picked her up, and she is an absolute dream! She is stunning, healthy, incredibly active, and full of life.
