Meet the breeder

I'm Jean S., the breeder behind Sunlite Golden Retrievers located in Otis Orchards, WA. We love to responsibly raise and train our puppies so they have the tools to be well-rounded, beloved family members.

Q. & A. with Jean

  • Why did you start breeding?

I started showing my Golden Retrievers in many performance events before I got into breeding. I have a very limited breeding program usually breeding only one litter a year. We are dedicated to providing families with wonderful, healthy family pets.
  • What makes your program special?

I usually breed only one litter a year. Puppies are sold on AKC limited Registration. Which means that they are registered with AKC but are not to be bred. Puppies are to be spayed or neutered no sooner than 1 year of age and no later than 2 years of age. My breeding dogs are fully health tested. My goal is to provide families with wonderful, healthy family pets.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
