Meet the breeder

I'm Chelsea H., the breeder behind Sunny Desert Goldens located in Edgewood, NM. We have a small breeding program so that each litter (and our own dogs) gets the best attention we can give them. Mom and Dad are both on-site and health tested. Our puppies go through lots of early socialization before heading home.

Q. & A. with Chelsea

  • What makes your program special?

We spend a lot of time working with our puppies. They are not out in a kennel or garage, they are in our living room. We start week one with ENS and ESI training. We work on basic obedience as well as crate introduction. We take the puppies for car rides about once a week so they will be ready to adventure! We spend time working on grooming skill and sound desensitization. We lay the foundation.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include dark golden and golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
