I'm Lily C., the breeder behind Sunny Shore Farms located in Riverhead, NY. The Maremma are known for their calm and level-headed disposition. They protect their livestock, not herd them and warn predators off, keeping them safe. We're committed to raising pups that are friendly, healthy, and most importantly, thoughtful LGDs with great dispositions and temperments.

We could not be happier with Lily and Sunny Shore Farms. Lily was so responsive to our questions and gave us tons of useful information with regard to caring for 2 wonderful Maremmas that we received from her. She put so much into setting our dogs up for success. When we received them they were already so good at their jobs. Additionally, because of her daily work with them, they are incredibly friendly to us and to other people we bring on the property. And they are incredibly comfortable being handled. We feel so lucky and grateful to have these wonderfully trained and socialized dogs in our lives. And we know that our livestock are safe with the dogs making sure that no predators will attempt to come near our pastures.

Sunny Shore Farms is one of the best!!! I have purchased multiple animals from Lily and our puppy Butters is fabulous. He is thriving here on our farm and loves his big brother Flipper who Lily also sold to me. She is informative and helpful. I have very much enjoyed working with her. Highly recommend buying a dog from her if you are looking for a Maremma for your farm!

We met Lily last December through "Good Dog" and feel so fortunate to have connected with her and her farm. She is passionate about her LGD's and we were so impressed by her expertise with Maremma Sheepdogs and placing her pups with the right home. Her longstanding commitment to (UKC) United Kennel Club and Good Dog is also a big plus. Our puppy is now 3 months old is very social, loving and an extremely intelligent LGD thanks to Lily and her dedication to the breed.
