I'm Carrey A., the breeder behind Sunshines Mini Puppies located in Soldotna, AK. Each of our dogs has brought so much happiness to us throughout their lives. We want to do our part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and we strive to provide each of our puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives.

Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding in 2020. I have thought about breeding for awhile, but decided it would be best to wait until I’m fully prepared and educated. I wanted all of my dogs to be health tested, before breeding.
What makes your program special?
I follow puppy culture and Badass Breeder curriculum. We start ENS and ESI on our puppies starting at 3 days old
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Poodle puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Tibetan Spaniel puppies are sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Carrey

Carrey has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,700 - $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Contract & health guarantee

Carrey may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Carrey offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Carrey directly.

Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis 8 (NCL8), Australian Shepherd Type, Multifocal Retinopathy 1 (CMR1), Intestinal Cobalamin Malabsorption (IGS), Australian Shepherd Type, Hyperuricosuria (HUU), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Craniomandibular Osteopathy (CMO), Cone Degeneration, Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Chondrodystrophy (CDDY and IVDD Risk) with or without Chondrodysplasia (CDPA), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
