I'm Jamie C., the breeder behind Super Nova Danes located in Elizabeth, CO. At the heart of our program is Super Nova 2024 “Nova,” our beautiful girl and the inspiration behind our kennel name. Nova has become so much more than a show dog she is a beloved member of our family, a devoted companion, and the foundation of our vision for the future.

Nova has begun making her mark in the show ring, earning Best of Breed wins, Guardian Group placements, CGCA, ATT, Trick Dog, and other achievements, while continuing to grow and develop as a confident, willing, and versatile Great Dane. Our puppies are black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Jamie
Jamie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jamie partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“We match each puppy with their perspective homes based on temperament of puppy, and your home setting. If you have kids, what other dogs you have in the home.”
Price
“Price will by puppy dependant. A non-refundable deposit needs to be placed to hold your puppy.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Nova
Nova is the center of attention everywhere she goes. She loves to be with her people. She loves water, hiking, lounging around. She doesn’t mind crowds, and is great with children. She has never met a stranger. She has done great at her UKC shows, and has been show in AKC and IABCA as well.
Parent health testing
Excellent level
Super Nova Danes reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Great Danes.
Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
